Tropical cloud forests are among the world’s most biodiverse and climate-sensitive ecosystems. They hold water, store carbon, and are a refuge for species under pressure from climate change.
At Nectandra, COTERC has a rare opportunity to launch a major nature regeneration project on surrounding land — 100+ hectares of degraded pasture and forest fragments, directly beside primary cloud forest.
This adjacency is what makes the project so powerful. Nectandra will act as an ecological anchor — a living source of seeds and wildlife that will ensure the project’s success.
